Overview
The Maui Fundraiser 40k GT by Dicehammer will be a 5 round, 44 player GT held at the Back Bay Conference Center / Irvine Lanes, in Irvine, CA. There will be 3 rounds on Saturday and 2 rounds on Sunday.
How it Works:
We are asking players to donate money to secure their spot in the Maui Fundraiser 40k GT by Dicehammer.
Dicehammer Inc. will be collecting funds and doing registration using PayPal and Venmo.
We are asking that players send at least $35 to cover the cost of the venue. The recommended donation amount for this event is in the range of $60-$100.
All funds raised, minus the cost of the venue, will go to support The Maui Strong Fund, Maui Humane Society and Maui United Way.
NOTE: As Dicehammer is not a Non-Profit Organization, you will not be able to receive a write off for any funds sent to Dicehammer Inc. If you file your yearly taxes in such a way that you would like to receive a tax credit for your donation, I would ask that you send $35 to cover the cost of the venue and donate an additional amount to one of the charities listed below (or a charity of your choosing). I would like to have a final number of total funds donated as a result of this event, so I may ask you to share what you donated privately (but you can share at your discretion).
There will not be prizes for this event aside from cardstock certificates for Top 3, Best Xenos, Best Chaos, Best Imperium, Best Painted, Best Painted 2nd Place and Best Painted 3rd place. I would rather have the focus to be on raising funds to support the victims of the Maui fires as opposed to prize support.
This will be an ITC scored event for hobby track and best general.

Again, a minimum donation of $35 is asked to cover the cost of the venue. The recommended donation is between $60-$100.
Players also have the option of sending $35 to Dicehammer for the cost of the venue, and donating to a Non-Profit Organization of their choosing.

The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly, with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui.
Maui Humane Society
Maui Humane Society’s will be providing pet supplies and emergency kits to evacuation shelters. They want owners and pets to stay together.
Maui United Way
All donations will help Maui United Way bring relief and resources to fire survivors and the non-profits that support them.
Event Accommodations
Irvine Lanes is located in Irvine, near the center of Orange County. We get 3,600 square feet of gaming space, an on-site bar, dining options and of course, bowling!
If food from the bowling alley doesn't strike (pun) your fancy, there are plenty of options within driving distance. Each day has an hour built in for lunch after the first game of the day and a 30 minute break after the second.
